Terms of Service

These terms govern all orders, payments, shipping, and after-sales arrangements between Linen World (Foshan) and our international clients. Please read carefully before placing an order.

General Terms

By placing an order with Linen World, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all purchases made through our website (linenworld.pro), via email, or through any other communication channel.

Linen World is a furniture manufacturing company based in Foshan, China. We produce and supply handcrafted linen upholstery furniture -- including sofas, armchairs, beds, and dining chairs -- for international clients, primarily in the US, Europe, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East.

All products are made-to-order. Due to the bespoke nature of our manufacturing process, please review all specifications carefully before confirming your order. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; the version published at the time of your order confirmation shall apply.

Orders & Customisation

All orders are processed on a made-to-order basis. An order is considered confirmed only after a signed quotation or written email confirmation from both parties, and after the required deposit payment has been received.

Order Types

Current Collection

Select from our existing styles. Minor width customisation supported. Choose fabric type and colour from 200+ options.

Custom Furniture

Fully bespoke production based on your reference images and dimensions. COM fabric accepted.

For custom orders, the client is responsible for providing accurate dimensions, reference images, fabric type, and colour code. Linen World will issue shop drawings for client approval before production commences. Any changes requested after shop drawing approval may incur additional charges and extend the lead time.

We recommend ordering physical fabric swatches prior to confirming your order to verify colour and texture. Swatch costs are credited toward your furniture order.

Fabric types available: Pure Linen · Linen Blend · Cotton · Poly Linen. COM (Client's Own Material) is accepted subject to prior approval.

Payment & Pricing Terms

Deposit

Due upon order confirmation. Production begins after deposit is received.

Due before shipment, after client approves final product photos and videos.

All payments are processed via a secure PayPal Invoice or Stripe Payment link issued by Linen World. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all prices are quoted in USD.

For orders quoted under DDP terms, the quoted price includes ocean freight, customs duties, local taxes, and delivery to the ground floor of the customer's named delivery address. Please note that DDP pricing does not include indoor delivery, moving furniture upstairs, installation, unpacking, disposal of packaging materials, or any special handling services unless clearly stated in the quotation.

For orders quoted under EXW or FOB terms, shipping costs, customs clearance, import duties, local taxes, destination charges, inland delivery, VAT, and any other related fees are not included and shall be the buyer's responsibility.

Linen World will clearly indicate the applicable trade term in each quotation or invoice before payment.

Production will not commence until the 50% deposit has been confirmed as received. Shipment will not be arranged until the remaining 50% balance has been paid in full and the client has provided written approval of the final product inspection.

Once production has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable, as materials have been cut and allocated specifically to your order.

Production Lead Times

All pieces are handcrafted to order in our 5,000 m² Foshan facility. Lead times begin from the date the deposit payment is confirmed.

Lead times are estimates and may vary due to order volume, fabric availability, or public holidays. Linen World will notify clients promptly of any anticipated delays. Lead times do not include shipping transit time.

Upon production completion, Linen World will send detailed product photographs and craftsmanship videos for client review. Shipment will be arranged only after written client approval is received.

Shipping & Delivery

Linen World ships worldwide via sea freight, air freight (DHL), and rail/truck (Europe). We support full container load (FCL) and drop-shipping solutions. Shipping costs are quoted separately based on destination, volume, and chosen method.

Shipping transit times are estimates provided by our logistics partners and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, port congestion, or other circumstances beyond our control. Linen World is not liable for shipping delays once goods have been handed to the freight carrier.

Tracking & Updates

  • A tracking link will be provided upon dispatch.
  • Weekly logistics status updates will be sent via email until delivery.
  • Our team will assist with customs documentation and delivery coordination.

Customs Duties & Import Taxes: For orders quoted under DDP terms, the quoted price includes ocean freight, customs duties, local taxes, and delivery to the ground floor of the buyer’s named address, unless otherwise stated in writing. For orders quoted under EXW or FOB terms, all shipping costs, customs clearance, import duties, local taxes, destination charges, inland delivery, VAT, and any other related fees shall be the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Risk of Loss: Risk passes to the buyer upon handover to the freight carrier. We strongly recommend that clients arrange appropriate cargo insurance for high-value shipments.

Inspection Before Shipment: All products undergo a thorough quality inspection before dispatch. Detailed photographs and videos are shared with the client for review and approval. Shipment proceeds only upon written client approval.

Defects & Manufacturing Issues: If a product arrives with a manufacturing defect (e.g., structural damage, incorrect fabric, or significant dimensional discrepancy from the agreed specifications), please notify us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. We will assess the issue and offer an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or partial refund at our discretion.

Shipping Damage: Damage caused during transit must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of both the packaging and the damaged item. Please retain all original packaging for inspection. Linen World will assist in filing a claim with the freight carrier.

Non-Returnable Items: As all products are made-to-order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect colour selection, or specifications confirmed and approved by the client. We strongly encourage clients to order fabric swatches and confirm all details in writing before production begins.

Natural Material Variations: Linen is a natural fabric. Minor variations in texture, weave, and slight colour differences between production batches are inherent characteristics of the material and are not considered defects. Screen colour representations may differ slightly from physical fabric.

Limitation of Liability

Linen World's total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the total value of that specific order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of profit, project delays, or costs arising from late delivery.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, port strikes, customs delays, government restrictions, or acts of force majeure.

Linen World makes no warranty that furniture will meet specific load-bearing, fire-retardancy, or regulatory standards of any particular country unless expressly agreed in writing. The client is responsible for verifying local compliance requirements.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the relevant courts or arbitration bodies in Foshan, Guangdong Province, China.
