Linen World was established in Foshan in 2012 with a focus on made-to-order upholstered furniture and the materials, proportions and craftsmanship that define a well-made piece.
What began with individual furniture orders has grown into bespoke residential projects and ongoing collaborations with interior designers, furniture brands and retailers around the world.
Today, we produce sofas, armchairs, beds, dining chairs and other upholstered furniture, with selected designs available in custom dimensions, fabrics, comfort options and finishing details.
Whether we are making one sofa for a private residence or multiple pieces for a design project, our approach remains the same: understand the specification, make it carefully, inspect it thoroughly and deliver it responsibly.

Our workshop is based in Foshan, one of China's established furniture manufacturing centres. Here, furniture moves from specification and material preparation through construction, upholstery, inspection and packing.
Clients and design professionals are welcome to visit us in person. For international projects, our team can also review requirements remotely and share production updates as the work progresses.

Every order begins with an agreed specification and moves through a clear production process before final inspection and packing.
Material Selection
Each project begins with the confirmed upholstery specification. Choose from our fabric library, order physical swatches, or discuss Customer's Own Material (COM) for eligible projects.
Frame & Structure
The internal structure is prepared around the approved design and dimensions. For customized pieces, key proportions are reviewed before production begins.
Cushioning & Comfort
Cushion construction is selected according to the furniture design and desired seating feel. Depending on the piece, different comfort systems can be considered to balance softness, support and resilience.

Upholstery panels are cut and sewn for each piece, with attention to fabric direction, seam placement and how the textile falls across the finished form.
Upholstery & Finishing
Each piece is upholstered and finished with attention to proportion, fabric tension, seams, cushion fit and overall appearance.
Final Inspection & Packing
Finished furniture is reviewed against the confirmed order specification before packing. Photos and videos can be shared before shipment, followed by protective packing for international delivery.

Before packing, each order is reviewed against the confirmed specification. Dimensions, upholstery, finishing details and overall presentation are checked before the furniture is prepared for international delivery.
